Israel is a rogue state. It has repeatedly broken international law over the course of its genocide in Gaza and has now aggressively initiated another conflict with its neighbour.

No one believes that Israel has attacked Iran because the country has a nuclear bomb; anymore than Israel’s main supporters invaded Iraq due to concerns over ‘weapons of mass destruction’. Israel has attacked Iran because it has become a military force with a nation attached; an economy that revolves around constant conflict and a leader who is aware that he will not survive the peace.

Western leaders, meanwhile, line up to support Netanyahu, just as obediently as Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping line up to support Kim Jong Un. Their support comes despite the fact that this conflict is going to be disastrous for the world economy; and may end up scuppering the economic paths they have attempted to forge for their own nations.
